Exactly one year ago (Nov 2020) I contacted AndesTech to ask for a sample of the AICE adapter to help me on OpenOCD adapter's reworks. They proposed to send me one AICE and one NDS32. As far as I understand NDS32 has a generic JTAG interface, while AICE is kind of HLA for NDS32 only. But so far I have not received anything. I can try to ping them again.
