Partly. Although I have switched mostly to USB, I also the parallel port adapter from time to time - the parallel port has the advantage that there is no firmware between the host and the target. Unless there are strong reasons to completely drop the driver, I would also vote to keep it as long as it does not cause major maintenance pain.
Anyway, my main problem with the parallel port is Windows. I'm not able to build a regression test setup for Windows. There is no documentation on how to set up OpenOCD with a parallel port driver on Windows. Do any of you use the parport driver on Windows?
No, only on Linux.
If not and no one shows up with a proper documentation / how-to, I would suggest to deprecate the driver for Windows (and drop it later).
