Recent status of trunk (at least the last time I checked): https://lists.berlios.de/pipermail/openocd-development/2009-June/008256.html That is, we can access ("see") Cortex A8 and can manipulate debug registers using OpenOCD scripts. What is missing now is Cortex A8 support, similar to existing M3 support. Magnus' examples https://lists.berlios.de/pipermail/openocd-development/2009-July/009176.html would be really helpful for adding Cortex A8 support to OpenOCD. So main status is missing Cortex A8 support. Regarding dongle (was a question in an other mail of this thread), some people use Flyswatter (with adapter kit): http://elinux.org/BeagleBoardJTAG#TinCanTools_Flyswatter http://www.tincantools.com/images/D/Fly%2BBeagle-800x391.JPG?1229714946602 Best regards Diurk _______________________________________________ Openocd-development mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/openocd-development
