That is, we can access ("see") Cortex A8 and can manipulate debug 
registers using OpenOCD scripts.

What is missing now is Cortex A8 support, similar to existing M3 support.

would be really helpful for adding Cortex A8 support to OpenOCD. So 
main status is missing Cortex A8 support.

Regarding dongle (was a question in an other mail of this thread),
