Don't bother voting. That's not how we've ever worked. However, do remember that by far the bulk of the noise on $SUBJECT derives from Laurent being unwilling to fix a gratuitous incompatibility in driver support for two different Amontec products. Remove the incompatability, and most symptoms will just vanish. Or related, the futile expecation that un-initialized hardware (clocking, in this case) should behave in some predictable but hardware-generic, way.
