The "CPU board" schematic shows this USB as FTDI going to a FT2232HL part. So is like a built-in Olimex-ARM-USB-tiny? Also has a direct 20-pin ARM jtag interface.

Any ideas on what kind of problems might be run into if using this
with openocd via jtag?

If OpenOCD knows that ARM core then I think it should work, but
better test to know for sure. :\

First have to get one...
