### Editor's Note ###

A very happy second birthday to our wonderful community. Two years ago
today—June 2, 2015—we launched a new section of Opensource.com to
continue the conversation Jim Whitehurst began with his book, _The Open
Organization_. Since then, we've published several _hundred_ articles
about the ways open principles are changing the future of work,
management, leadership, and organizational design.

To celebrate, today we're releasing the next book in the _Open
Organization_ book series: _The Open Organization Guide to IT Culture
Change_. It's available as a Creative Commons-licensed download, and
paperback copies are forthcoming soon from publishing partner Lulu.
Check out the links below.

And on top of that, Jason Hibbets brings us a behind-the-scenes look at
how the book came together according to the Open Decision
Framework—proof positive that openness works.

Thanks, everyone, for all that you've done to make this community the
delightful group is continues to be!
