Hi friends, I'm so excited to tell you that Heidi Hess von Ludewig has agreed to join the Open Organization Ambassadors team.
Heidi earned her PhD in Communication from North Carolina State University in 2014. A writer and researcher, Heidi examines the way creativity functions in networked organizations, and she's bringing that interest to bear in her work with the Customer Experience and Engagement team at Red Hat. Over the years, Heidi has worn many hats in a number of (more conventional) organizations. So she's particularly interested in creating resources to help folks make the tricky (and often confusing) transition from traditional organizations to open ones. Case in point: She's already begun a series of articles on that very subject [1]. Heidi has also penned several chapters in the _Open Organization Workbook_ [2], and will be speaking at Red Hat Summit this May as part of a panel on open culture [3]. I'm thrilled that Heidi has agreed to share her expertise and experience with our group. If you'd like to learn more about her helpful and compelling perspective on workplace culture, dynamics, and design, be sure to check out her blog, Brainbidextrous [4]. Please join me in welcoming her!
