December was an outstanding month for the open organization community at
Opensource.com. Most notably, we released a new book (!!), an updated
edition of _The Open Organization Leaders Manual_, a project we'd
undertaken in April 2018. The book's landing page generated 3,975 page
views and more than 700 downloads at Opensource.com this month.

Of course, despite the release we did not cease regular publication
efforts! The community also published four new articles on open
organizations and open leadership in December.

And best of all, we welcomed the newest member of the Open Organization
Ambassadors team: Ben Owens!

Read on to learn more about what we achieved in the final month of
2018—and learn how you can get involved in the exciting work 2019 will
bring!

Editorially yours,
Bryan

On December 11, the open organization community unveiled its newest

Significantly expanded to more than 200 pages in this new iteration, the

writers, educators, consultants, and other experts. The electronic
version of the book received more than 500 downloads during release
week. Like other books in the series, it's available (at cost) as a
