## Editor's Note

Happy Tuesday, dear readers! Today we bring you what I *believe* is a
first: A revised and updated edition of an article from our archives,
this one from ambassador Ron McFarland.

Years ago (we have that kind of community timeline now!), Ron penned a
piece on communication technologies and peer-to-peer engagement. For
2020, he's updated his analysis and thinking on these issues, and
specifically incorporated themes and materials from The Open
Organization Definition into the work. Thanks, Ron!
