The Open Organization project is pleased to invite public comment, critique, and collaboration on its latest community-driven project, the Open Leadership Definition.[1]
The Open Leadership Definition aims to clarify the specific mindsets and behaviors that distinguish open leadership from other leadership styles. It also indicates the ways open leaders contribute to the cultivation, production, maintenance, and extension of open organizational cultures and structures as outlined in the Open Organization Definition[2]. Open Organization community contributors hope the document will serve as a framework for building more engaged, accountable, innovative, self-aware, and risk-tolerant organizations. Today's draft release is available for feedback and comment via any of the links below. Community maintainers seek feedback that helps them clarify, extend, and refine the work, as well as comments that connect it to similar efforts. Work in progress is available immediately and remains open to comment for two weeks. For additional details, please see today's announcement at Opensource.com[3]. ====== The Open Leadership Definition Introduction: https://bit.ly/2ToTfx0 Transparency: https://bit.ly/3wOTdgi Inclusivity: https://bit.ly/2TwJBbU Adaptability: https://bit.ly/3ySVpp3 Collaboration: https://bit.ly/3g0Fn3N Community: https://bit.ly/3p9LgzF ====== About the Open Organization Project: The Open Organization is a community-driven project leading a global conversation about the ways open principles change how people work, manage, and lead.
