Hey All, Silly question, which I think that I know the answer to, but just wanted to get some verification from those of you who might know for sure. (before I go to a lot of work)
I am using the G711 PCMU voice codec. If I used the PCM uLaw file format for all of my IVR/Voice recordings, will the performance be better? Because the system shouldn't have to do any transcoding? The reason I ask is because I am having some problems with occasional choppiness when playing sound files. Thanks for your help!
