I mean the usage of fdopen, fgets, fprintf etc. on the socket instead of
read/write in rfc931.c. At the same time, the "original" socket descriptor
is heavily used.
But then, i looked at the version 7.6 from Wietse Venema, and the stdio
stuff is  there, too. What is new in socket_wrappers is the strange :)
stuff with safe_select. On my machine it hangs in the second safe_select
until it times out. I did not have the patience to dig deeper.

'try-from' is used to print out tcpwrappers' idea about local and remote
hostname, ip-address, user (this is what the identd is used for), etc. It
is used like "rsh tcpwrappers-host $prefix/sbin/try-from".
