Well, it seems to be related to other libraries. The infection comes from
the $prefix/lib/*.la - files. I grep for such things from time to time,
but - especially when there are "automatic" updates as a side effect, such
things slip trough.
My solution is to consequently get rid of /usr/local and do everything
with OpenPKG.
For QA it could probably be a good idea to have a machine in the compile
farm that uses a prefix of /usr/local and then check from time to time...
