Try "sh openpkg...sh --help", there are --use_XXX= variables.

No.

You can influence this by setting the environment variable TMPDIR.

As far as i can see there are currently at lease 3 persons interested in
this.  Doug Summers, Doug Henry and me. I hoped that IRIX could be ready
for the next release (BASE+CORE). When you are willing to help, this would
be great.
