IMHO having implicit hooks like foobar_start_prolog,
foobar_start_epilog, foobar_stop_prolog, foobar_stop_epilog with default
would be a more general approach. Could be helpful for all kind of
things. Shouldn't be that hard to hack something in %{l_prefix}/etc/rc.
