The data is made available as free downloads as raster BSB maps from the site of the Brazilian hydrographic service, they are updated on infrequent intervals, and new data made available infrequent as well. It seems like lots of data has been released lately due to a rush of digitalizing the source data base.
I contacted Brazilian hydrographic service back in 2009 to try to get data donated, the reply was than that we where free to trace the raster data but they would not grant us special access. We can also "correct" the data with bi-weekly notice to mariners, but these data must be manually handled from pdf files, backlog of these corrections to 2009 exists I will be glad to point you to the corrections if any of you feel you have time to do these, I'll only do the main imports Aun Johnsen Sent from my iPhone On 3. juni 2013, at 10:18, "Bernhard R.
