sorry about that, I did not realize there were changes that affected the
build. I'm updating the patch ATM.

that is more a mistake than intentional, I'll re-add the compiler to the
the default build_dir name. The options, conf log/files will end up in
that build dir. The options are additionally written to
options.cache.last in the top level dir, so that repeating the last
build you only have to call scons (without any options). To use repeat
another build use scons options_file=<path/to/build/dir> it will look
for an options.cache file in that dir (you can also give it the full
file path).
