Hi Desiree,
this is a bug in the vrml loader just change the transparency from 0 to
0.001 in the wrl file.
Andreas
Hi,
I have a problem when I load and display a vrml-File, which worked fine
with older OSG versions. Its also displayed correctly in some VRML
viewers like Cortona. The geometry in the wrl-File basically consists of
a plane covered with a texture, which is stored in gif format and
contains transparent parts. The visible result should be a man, which is
standing in the scene. But, the parts which should be transparent are
black and not transparent.
I used a simple demo program (10loading - use deko_man.WRL as program
argument) and only inserted one line:
mgr->setImageBackground ("img\\sky4.png");
just to see the black parts of the image (otherwise the background
itself is black and you don´t see whats wrong).
I will enclose the wrl file and the images (which should be placed in a
subdirectory img).
Can anyone tell me whats wrong? As I already mentioned it seemed to work
with an older version of Open SG (about 4 month ago)....
Thanks
Desiree
