Hi,
I had the same problem with multicast in recent OpenSG Versions.
Now, I am just curious what caused this change of behaviour?
Thanks, for any comments on that,
Christoph

The problem can be that your machine thinks it's name is "localhost".
This often happens if /etc/hosts only contains this line
127.0.0.1 localhost
If this is true try adding your machines IP and name to this file. Also
make sure that the hostname command doesn't return "localhost", by
setting the host name (hostname opensgbox) if necessary.

Hi Rasmus.
You were quite near: My machine IP was of course in /etc/hosts, this
is done by default in the debian installation. Also, the hostname
command returned the right name. In spite, I had to modify the hosts
file, that the 127.0.0.1 localhost entry comes AFTER the 192.168.0.xxx
machinename entry. 3 days in vain for just a single line. I love it.
Thanks for the hint.
Dominik
