Sorry to say, yes. ;)
The SimpleSceneManager adds the given root to an internal subgraph which
contains the beacon for the camera, the headlight and some other things.
Given that OpenSG is single-parent, that can only be done for one SSM,
therefore you can't use multiple SSMs with the same scene.
The SSM was primarily written to minimize the setup code for the
Tutorials, for a real application it's just too limited. The solution
would be to not use it, but set up your own Windows/Viewports/Camera
instead. Right now I don't have an instructive example for that, does
anybody else have one?
