Hi Marc,

well the parser supports prototypes but the loader istself not. The vrml loader was written to import "simple" geometry files. Supporting the full vrml specification is quite difficult and much work. This is actually a job for a VR System build on top of OpenSG.

Andreas

Hi,

I am very confused. Since 3 weeks I want to load a vrml File with protos in it.
But it seems that the osg vml-loader use protos without instanciate it. The
cortona loader do it right with my file, but the osg not. Can you please help? I
put an example in the attachement. This example should bring three sliders, and
a ball on the window, but only a green box is seen from the osg-loader.
Greetings
Marc
