Hi Jan,
hmm really strange ... BTW did you test this with linux or windows or both?

I've tested the 3400 in my uniprocessor system back when I first ran
into the problem - no deal, same problem unfortunately. Another system
with the (AGP) FX 3000 had the same problem as well so I don't think
it's a pci express related problem as well.
Just as an update, just tried with the 3400 in a system identical to
mine and it does 90 fps at __GL_FSAA_MODE=7. Mhm. The Dual processor
system does 2.7, as stated. It's not specific to this single machine,
another dual one has the same problem.
However if I use just a bit more data (i.e. the non-disclosable
dataset), the single cpu machine with quadro fx runs at 0.9 fps .. so
the margin that triggers the system memory swap seems to be, for
whatever reasons that I can't see at the moment, a small bit higher than
on the dual processor machine. Framebuffers are same size ..
Mhm. Strange enough.
Best regards,
-.jan.-
