Hi,
Thanks for the help you give me but I need a little more:
1: If I set the core of a camera beacon to the transform core of an object A on
the scene, the camera will move together with the object. If I add a new
Transform node just below the one that's moving the object and the camera, what
happens? I guess I should be able to just transform the object without
affecting the camera, right? If not, where should I put the new transform node
to affect the object but not the camera?
Yes that works.

Ok T1 is your camera beacon. If you change T2 the object will move
relative to your camera.
2: If I need to scale the model before doing any transformation, where would
you suggest would be better put the scaling transform for best performance? Is
there a way to apply the transform to the vertex data once and for all?
Just add another transform node above your model. To get rid of the
extra transform you could manipulate the vertex positions and normals
directly in the geometry core.
Andreas
Thanx a lot
