What blend factors did you set on your blendChunk?
For "regular blending" srcFactor should be GL_SRC_ALPHA and destFactor
should GL_ONE_MINUS_SRC_ALPHA.
Or you could use the alpha test (can't remember which chunk this is in),
since GIF doesn't allow partial transparency.
Also, I'm not sure if the GIF loader supports tranparency. Someone else
can probably answer that.
