Hello Xavier,the hard exit in case of an error should be fixed now in the CVS - I cannot test it because I do not have a broken JPEG file, so please give some feedback if this actually solves your problem. The changed file is also attached to this eMail (anonymous CVS access still does not work), put it into OpenSG/Source/System/Image and recompile your version of OpenSG.
