I tried reinstalling Visual Studio 2005 and the problem seems to have evolved a
bit. The problem was my PATH included $VS8\VC\ce\Dll\x86, which is obviously
wrong. Now, it includes:
$WINDIR\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.VC80.CRT_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.42_x-ww_0de06acd
This seems strange, but is also where others have resolved their problems on
google. However, now when starting the program, I get:
"The application failed to initialize properly (0x80000003)."

I've built the Tutorials using the CVS libs with the visual studio project
files and they seem to work fine, but the programs built with the libraries
fail. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Alan
