I'm willing to give it a try.

I already played around a little with the FBOViewport from 2.0 some weeks  
ago (actually this was the reason for trying 2.0 for me) - nice to have it  
in 1.8 now.
First thing I wanted to have then was a transparent background for the FBO  
stage/viewport. I built my own Background for this but it would be nice to  
have that available with the standard SolidBackground. Either change it to  
Color4f or simply add an "alpha" field. Is there any reason for it not  
beeing Color4f already (especially in 2.0)?

Should the DisplayFilter stuff be involved for this tutorial?
