osgHello

i managed to get our (relatively) cheap emagin z800 hmd working under linux
([EMAIL PROTECTED]). those are active DCC glasses.

until now, i've used passive stereo with two projectors and a quadro card (quad
buffer). now, i'm a little confused how to best render for the dcc glasses. do i
need quad buffer at all, or can i just modify my renderloop (passivewindow in
qt) to alternatively render the left and right eye? should i use the
osg::ShearedStereoCameraDecorator for this (the hmd will be headtracked)?

any hints & experiences? which method gives the best performance?
