Hi simon, I have used the z800s under windows only, but in my experience they use active quad buffer support with the NVIDIA "nView Clone" stereo type.
Hope that this can help you E. -----Messaggio originale----- Da: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Per conto di Simon Haegler Inviato: giovedì 19 aprile 2007 10.41 A: [email protected] Oggetto: [Opensg-users] active stereo glasses osgHello i managed to get our (relatively) cheap emagin z800 hmd working under linux ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). those are active DCC glasses. until now, i've used passive stereo with two projectors and a quadro card (quad buffer). now, i'm a little confused how to best render for the dcc glasses. do i need quad buffer at all, or can i just modify my renderloop (passivewindow in qt) to alternatively render the left and right eye? should i use the osg::ShearedStereoCameraDecorator for this (the hmd will be headtracked)? any hints & experiences? which method gives the best performance?
