Hello all,

I'm finishing up the integration of volume rendering in our OpenSG
based toolkit and focusing on polish. Unfortunately, I ran into a hurdle
that is preventing me from moving on to my next task (DICOM support).
What methods have others been using to visualize the clipping
planes/objects?

I'm having some trouble getting the clip objects and slice planes to
behave how I want. The larger problems involve the slice plane. First, I
can't seem to get the plane geometry to draw correctly inside the
volume. The volume clips the plane. (see pic 1) I've tried blend modes,
polygon modes, sort orders, etc. but can't seem to get the plane to go
all the way through the volume.

Second, the slice plane is clipping any "clip objects" I have assigned
to the volume. Is there a way to preserve clip objects while using a
slice plane at the same time? The geometry for the clip object is
assigned to the root, not a child of the volume.

Thanks

E.
