now I'm afraid you lost me a little; what example projects? There is not yet a 
cmake build for the stuff in Examples/Simple or Examples/Tutorial, AFAIK the 
only thing converted so far is the build of OpenSG itself.
To use it, it normally is installed, so that you only need a single include 
path: <OpenSG-Install-Path>/include
and lib path: <OpenSG-Install-Path>/lib{,64}.

On the other hand I don't see why that would affect the timeGetTime prototype.  
Do you have defines that affect the contents of windows.h in your headers 
(WIN32_LEAN_AND_MEAN comes to mind) or on the command line for the compiler?  
Or can you post that command line please?
Sorry for asking for all this stuff, but I haven't seen anything that would 
explain what is happening so far...
