well, the trolls from qtsoftware use it in their qtsdk. and i think
qtsdk + opensg could be a really nifty idea for students ...

the current version shipped is gcc342 (sadly not 64bit capable), the
folks at mingw working on gcc4 (64bit versions exist already).
