Just an update for everyone (and a warning for other people with domains). The story is basically:
- I registered for this domain when i was still in grad school. - i used my research lab e-mail address - I lost that e-mail account when I left - This meant that I didn't receive any updates, warnings, anything about the domain when it came up to expire. Now I am trying to prove to NetworkSolutions that I am actually who I say I am and that that person is the same person that registered the domain. This involves a lot of faxed paperwork and is especially difficult since my address has changed since grad school. With the holidays it makes it even harder to get done. So, the long and short of it is that I am working on it. In the meantime, it may be a relatively simple operation to get opensg.vrjuggler.org up and running since that is another domain on the same machine. I hate to say it, but this may take a while. It may end up being faster to register a new domain or move the current content to a new host like google code or sourceforge. As soon as I know anything more I will let everyone know. Sorry for the issue. This will teach me to make sure all my domains have my current e-mail address. :( -Allen On Wed, Dec 23, 2009 at 12:47 AM, Gerrit Voß <vo...@vossg.org> wrote: > > Hi, > > On Wed, 2009-12-23 at 00:33 -0600, Aron Bierbaum wrote: >> I believe that there are still problems getting the vrsource domain >> back.
