Hello Gerrit, sorry for the long silence, but I did some error correction in my code. Now, I store the beacons along with the clip plane chunks as I actually intended in the first place. Later on I did forget about this detail...
With revision 2456 and with my correction I get the desired result: writing w1.osg reading w1.osg and writing this as test_1.osg => w1.osg equals test_1.osg thank you for taking all the time with this case.
