Hello Carsten, at the weekend I did look at lib3ds from
http://code.google.com/p/lib3ds/ which is actually used by the OpenSceneGraph project and which is also of LGPL license. This raises the following question. Would it be an valid alternative for OpenSG to switch to the lib3ds library (assuming it does not show the known problems)? Did anyone evaluate the library in the OpenSG context?
