Makes sense, although I guess the order should rather be depends: libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio | libsdl1.2debian-alsa
or I'm affraid some people may end-up with alsa when what they really need is pulse (think of non-technical users, who stick to the default pulseaudio and do not even know what "pulse" or "alsa" mean). -- Packaging should Recommends: libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/442568 You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenShot Developers, which is subscribed to OpenShot Video Editor. Status in OpenShot Video Editor: In Progress Bug description: 1) OS : ubuntu jaunty (9.04) 2) openshot: v0.9.43 the default alsa device in Jaunty is of type "pulse", and it does not seem to work with openshot : the sound is choppy then finally stops, freezing openshot. To work around that bug, I have to edit ~/.asoundrc to set another device as default. It is a shame that openshot does not work with pulse audio, which is the default for jaunty. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
