Hello everyone, I am proud to announce that Olivier and I have completed the English Help-Manual. Olivier had created much of the content in French, and then we worked together to translate it into English. I have created a new branch on LaunchPad to hold the development files. I have used OpenOffice.org Writer to enter the content, which is then exported to DocBook(XML) format.
The structure of the help-manual has been modified a bit from Helen's original plan, but that was due mainly to the Yelp help viewer, and the size of the pages. We have flattened the structure out a bit, so there are more topics, and the topics are smaller... and easier to read. It's uploaded to a new branch: *bzr branch lp:~jonoomph/openshot/openshot-docs* ** **To launch the help file, use this command: *yelp ghelp://home/USER_NAME/openshot-docs/en-us/openshot/openshot.xml* Please take a look when you have some time. If there are missing topics, spelling mistakes, grammer issues, just let me know. I will update the ODT file, and then re-export the XML and POT files. Once everyone is happy, I will upload the POT file into LaunchPad's translation system, and we'll start the translation process. =) A big thanks to Olivier and Helen for putting time into this project.
