I'm not totally sure I have the same problem here, but this is what happens:
Sometimes the sound randomly fails to play. Often only the first second (approximately) of sound is played., but then there is silence until the next clip starts. It also happens during encoding (which is even more annyoing). Changing the videoposition (by clicking on the timeline) and pressing play sometimes makes the sound play again. Once a clip has sound trouble, it seems fairly persistant (though not *completely* :-( ) The sound problems appear to get worse when the project grows.
