I upgraded to Ubuntu 10.04 beta2 wich has the newest MLT version (0.5.2), but unfortunately that didn´t improve anything. In fact, the stuttering is getting worse! When I just play the video with ´melt´ there is no stuttering. OpenShot version 1.1.3.

I use mostly Raw-DV format but other formats (AVI, MPEG, VOB) has the same problem. This is with the 32-bits Ubuntu 9.04 deb versions, OpenShot version 0.9.22.
