Mario F.: did you try with the systemsettings specified in comment 1? I have intel X4500 hardware so this is not an ATI radeon issue only.

Status in OpenShot Video Editor: Invalid Bug description: After starting openshot, the toolbar is incorrectly rendered (icons are not visible and toolbar has incorrect height). Icons suddenly appear when I hover the position where icons should be rendered. In addition, the toolbar has incorrect height and there's some extra space below the icons. Correct rendering can be activated by disabling the toolbar and enabling it again.
