Hi Peter

In OpenSim.ini CombineContiguousRegions=true so we have a megaregion

We need more space than a single 252x252 region would provide but
would like to avoid having to restart the simulator everytime someone
or something goes outside the boundaries of our current 512x512
megaregion!

You can run 4 ordinary regions side-by-side (possibly just by turning off
CombineContiguousRegions, though backup first!). The major problem with
ordinary regions is the delay on region boundary crossing.

I think that this is worth trying to see if your problem goes away or whether
the llPushObject() possible issue that Teravus mentions is more general.

Regions.ini is appended

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

Clive

Hi Justin

I'm not sure I've got the terminology right.

By a 2x2 megaregion I meant 4 normal regions in a 2x2 layout
comprising a single 512x512 megaregion.

Question is just that. Megaregion or not ?
if the "CombineContiguousRegions" is set to "true" in your
OpenSim.ini, you have a megaregion.
Megaregions are not as stable/easy-to-manage a sets of 'regular' regions.
