Justin, the dynamic attributes branch allows storing attributes both in
Prims and in PrimShapes. Is there a reason for this? It would be simpler to
store attributes only in the prim.

I probably did this because MOAP is on the PrimitiveBaseShape class (as the property Media) along with other aspects of shape appearance.

However, I think it would be simpler to have properties all in one map rather 
than the complexity of two maps.
