Thanks for the script. It will help a number of people who want/need to migrate to core groups.
As an FYI, it won't help with the migration of the binary bucket (group notice attachment data) used with Flotsam groups for anyone using the patch I provided as part of mantis #6699. To migrate the bucket data would require a more sophisticated script (probably a PHP based one).
