Zardak.. just to be clear, I have never used one of the .sln solution files directly and don't create systems with Visual Studio or Visual C# EXpress. I only installed Visual C# 2010 Express because we were told that was required to use the new 0.8.0 GIT Master versions that are built using Framework 4.0.

My "build" route for OpenSim is

a) download a .zip of the latest sources from the GIT master area

b) unzip in a directory

c) runprebuild.bat

d) compile.bat

e) merge in my own Robust.HG.ini, OpenSim.ini and config-include/GridCommon.ini, Regions/*.ini and a few other relevant files

f) start things back up

I am not at all sure what is REALY needed to be able to do this under Framework 4.0 an what would already be in place on a typical recently updated Windows system. maybe JustinCC can clarify? is Visual C# 2010 Express RREQUIRED for thos eof us not wantign to build from .sln solution files in the actual Visual Studio tools, other than using msbuild as past of running compile.bat?
