since i did not find a Linux-Binary, i was downloading the ZIP from github to give it a try.
It compiled successfuly, and it seem to Work at all ;-)

After login to my Grid i recieved a Message:

2014-11-14T07:01:40Z llcommon/aisyncclient.cpp(408) : error
2014-11-14T07:01:40Z ERROR: remove_server:
ASSERT(false)
file:llcommon/aisyncclient.cpp line:408

Pressing "Yes" removes the Message and everything seem to be ok. (Pressing "No" closes the Viewer)

After teleporting to your Grid, i saw the GUI changes to be more minimalistic ;-)
but then i got the error:

2014-11-14T07:03:27Z llimage/llimage.cpp(603) : error
2014-11-14T07:03:27Z ERROR: composite:
ASSERT(3 == src->getComponents())
file:llimage/llimage.cpp line:603

right before the World was loaded.
This finally closed the Viewer for me :-(

Maybe its me, i never compiled a Viewer before. I was using the HowTo on Singularity-Webpage (http://www.singularityviewer.org/kb/build-linux).

If there is anything i can to to get more Informations out of this, just tell me. (I copied the error-messages out of my console)

Sorry for my bad English :-(

Hi everyone,

As I announced at OSCC last weekend, I have been working on the viewer side. I have now made the first (very alpha) release of this new viewer, OnLook, which people can test. I wrote a description of OnLook, and the steps to test it, in a blog post:

Comments welcome. I hope we can make many more things programmable server-side.

Diva
