You're right: cursor up works and I can use backspace and cursor left to
modify the line; cursor right doesn't work.

I'm running OpenSim on a Linux, but usually even in windows, in a command
window you should be able to get back the last command(s) by the "cursor up"
and/or the "page up" key.
