Awhile back when experimenting with the auth server I came across this:
http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Current_login_protocols and if I
remember correctly (although I'll be damned if I can find it again)
Imprudence had extended, or at least planned on extending this protocol
to allow the simulator to send over its own tos url among a few other
goodies. :)

I suspect compiling one's own viewer would be a bit much in this case
:). Not very surprising that it's not more configurable.

There's a floater_tos.xml in the skin/xui folders of every viewer,
that calls a http request on the SL TOS. The xml is
called on in the lllogininstance.cpp of the viewer source. So yes,
it's only a viewer issue, you can replace the tos
with any html page and compile your viewer so it will bring up your
tos upon first login.
iirc first login to sl and sl beta has tos requirement

There is not. I don't know if there's any generic viewer facility
for such a thing which would be the first
prerequisite.

Hi all,
Is there any functionality built into OpenSim yet where if you
change your World's TOS people have to accept it before
they are allowed in?
Thanks,
Kat
