Hi Kat I've used Joomla as well it works great across multiple computers on the grid
also if you have avatars already entered in to the system and then you add the Joomla front end you can bring them into the Joomla account with a terminal in a particular sim and add the user uuid to Joomla account it was a lot easier than trying to set up a front end by myself Hope this info is helpful From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Joshua Rubeck Sent: Tuesday, February 07, 2012 3:04 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Opensim-users] Joomla OpenSim Components No if you use multiple databases it should be fine. It gets most of the region data from the robust database. I use it myself and we have one main grid database and 7 regional databases. So it should work just fine. Foto however is coming out with a newer version sometime soon which will include events, search, Also it should have invisible changes for JOpenSIm money which will come out in another version. The only thing this doesnt have is you cant view inventory from it but I think thats in the works. Also there might be a few new administration features planned but not sure what. Would this limit what how powerful it is, with each region having its own database?
