You might be the first person ever to say compiling the viewer isnt
difficult, lol.  It might not be so difficult if your just doing a windows
viewer only, but if you plan to include Linux and Mac viewers as well the
difficulty level really goes high, honestly though never heard anyone say
compiling the viewer was not difficult.
