Do you mean that you want your slp services to persiste between reboots? If
so, use the slp.reg file. 

or are you meaning something else?

I was getting ready to use openslp in production on SLES10 SP1 and was 
surprised to find out that there isn't persistant slp service data on a 
restart.  I see that it was on the issue list to be addressed but I was 
wondering what the current plans are there? 

I see this as a major problem with migrating from Netware to Linux for SLP 
DA services.  Is there a configuration suggestion on how to minimize the 
affect of a server failure/restart?  I am understanding that having two or 
more SLP servers doesn't minimize the impact.  If a SLP server is up, then 
the Novell client doesn't try a second slp server for the information it 
needs.  Is this correct?
